My Lovely Supporters

7 May 2011

Hi all today I have a card to show you that I have made for the following challenges:
Well I certainly dusted off my stash with this one, I actually got one of my Sarah Kaye stamps out to ink up, this range of stamps was one of the first I ever bought when I started out in the the land of blog.  They were my favourites and I used them lots, then...nothing, they have been sat waiting patiently in my folder for the day that they would see sunlight again. I have seen my blogging buddy VICKY use them and she has encouraged me to get mine out and ink them up, thank you Vicky for the encouragement
I did get two out but I haven't finished the second one yet, I stamped the image in SU Choc Chip ink then used a Nestie to die cut her, I knew she would not fit so I had stamped a second image, coloured her with Copics cut her out by hand then mounted her onto the first.  The base bp is Basic Grey, the blue paper is from Bearlymine, I added a ribbon, flowers and sentiment.
I want to apologise for not visiting yesterday but after I finished colouring my hands were in rather a lot of pain and very swollen, they still are but not as bad as yesterday, I suppose that is old age creeping up on me fast, lol.
I will see you later so take care and I hope you like my card.

Mini Tilda's New Home

Hi all today I have this card to show you which I hope you will like.
I have used a Mini Tilda, I bought two and this is one of them, I didn't think I would be able to colour her as I normally would due to her wee size but I am so pleased with the finished card.
For my card I have used SU textured card and SU papers, I added some grosgrain ribbon, gems and pearls.  Tilda I coloured with Copics I did some masking so that I could get her to sit on her new home, the mushroom house is one of the new stamps I bought from Polka Doodles, also coloured with Copics.  I had seen the house stamps being demo'd on Create & Craft there is a set of 3 houses with lots of little extras.
I followed the sketch at The Pink Elephant then made it into and easel card which I haven't done for awhile. I punched out a couple of little butterflies and used my Hello Kitty nesting flowers die for the large flower, the sentiment is SU which I stamped with SU Choc Chip ink then punched it out with an SU punch.
This is a close up of Tilda

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Corrosive Challenge - Turquoise and Pink, I think my card may be ok as the main colours are tempting turquoise and pink, although there is some green so I will understand if is not accepted.

Well that's it from me today but I will be around later to see you all

Tulip Fairy

Hi all I hope you are well
I have made a card for several challenges that I will list below.
I have used on of my rubber stamps that I won at PCP a few years ago, I believe she is from Fairie Art Song,  I have not used her for quite some time so thought it would make a change to get her inked up, which I did with SU Choc Chip ink.  I coloured her with Copics then cut her out with a scalloped Nestie I then mounted her onto a pearlescent pink card also die cut with a slightly larges Nestie.  Once i had coloured her I added glitter to her wings and headband.
The papers bought last month they are SU Springtime Vintage, all were mounted onto yellow card. I added some flowers, gems and pearls.

Digital Tuesday Challenge #109

Hi all today we have a new challenge for you the theme is to use
Our Sponsor is

Here is my DT card using one of their beautiful images called Bride and Groom
I have used Bearlymine paper added some butterfly ribbon which is quite soft and just a touch of sparkle, I also added some of my treasured lace.  I cut several different sized scalloped circles using a Nestie then embossed them using the Daisy embossing folder, I then die cut two hearts, I used pink card and silver mirri card for the die cutting.  I printed out the image twice coloured with promarkers then cut them out and 3d'd them, the sentiment is from LOTV and stamped using Momento ink, finally I made the flower with the same pink ribbon, some white ribbon and added a rose for the centre.

The ribbon is wired so the long bits I had left after making the flower I twirled and added it as a little extra effect.

Tilda In Pink Dress

Hi all today I have this card to show you I am entering this one into several challenges which I will list at the end.
I have used one of my new Tilda's and I really enjoyed using her she is a real beauty.  I have paper pieced her with a small scrap of paper that I had in my stash but have no name for it, I think it may be Cuddly Bubbly digi paper but I am not really sure, I just thought it would make the perfect colour and design for Tilda.
I have paper pieced the bow on her hat, her wellies and dress.
I then coloured her with Copics.  The papers are Basic grey Bittersweet, I have followed a sketch from Sketch'n'Stash, the butterfly and bird I stamped with SU Melon Mambo ink then used the co-ordinating SU punches to punch them out.  I added some flowers, charm and brads, I also used some grass and flower stamps for Tilda to stand on, they are only little wee stamps from a set that I bought from Polka Doodles.
I followed sketch No: 42

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Well that is it from me for the moment I hope you like my card and have enjoyed your visit I will be seeing you all soon
